
Ted Laan is Counsel to KMB Law and a member of the firm's Commercial Litigation and Family Law groups.
Ted began his studies at McGill University, graduating in 1974 with a BA in Philosophy. From there, he attended Osgoode Hall Law School, graduating in 1977 with an LLB. After serving his articles, he was called to the Ontario Bar in 1979.
Ted practices in the areas of commercial litigation and family law. He has experience at every level of the Ontario Court system. His services include trials, appeals, negotiations and arbitrations.
Recently, Ted has been appointed as a Director of LIRN Inc. (Legal Information and Resource Network), a corporation that is continuing the work of the former LibraryCo Inc. LIRN’s mission is to ensure modernization of the delivery of legal information and library services to lawyers and paralegals.
Ted was recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada in 2022.
